Demo Wednesday: Tournament brackets

We've published a new demo: Tournament brackets

If you watched the last Champions Chess Tournament, you not only noticed Magnus Carlsen's well-deserved victory, but you also appreciated the double elimination system that the tournament organizers utilized. This system helps participants to recover from a single loss and still strive for overall victory (just watch Wesley So's amazing journey to the grand final).

This 2-bracket system leaves no diagram enthusiast quiet and begs for a visual representation in the form of a diagram. We are therefore pleased to introduce a tournament bracket demo that shows the results of the recent tournament.

To highlight the journey of an individual player, interact with the toolbar (Player's Path). To go back in time and view the results of the first days of the tournament, use the slider.

Enjoy!
